In molti Paesi del Sud Mediterraneo le minoranze, spesso pre-esistenti alla formazione dei rispettivi Stati, vengono concepite come una presenza da tollerare e da controllare, nonché come un possibile fattore di indebolimento delle diverse realtà statuali. Ne ha discusso il 4 e il 5 aprile 2011 il convegno “Minoranze etniche e religiose nella realtà mediterranea”, organizzato dal Centro Italiano per la Pace in Medio Oriente in collaborazione con la Commissione Straordinaria per la tutela e la promozione dei diritti umani del Senato della Repubblica e sotto l'Alto Patronato del Presidente della Repubblica.

 

Per il convegno internazionale Minoranze etniche e religiose nel Mediterraneo Stilema si è occupata della comunicazione e dell'ufficio stampa.
